Description
Translucent special PVC film, providing homogenous uniformity when viewed through or on to the materials. The
reduced surface gloss inhibits undesired reflection.

Release paper
Silicone coated paper on one side, 137 g/m², with special release characteristics which provide excellent waste stripping
properties. For white vinyl a light blue silicone coated paper is used to form a stronger contrast to lettering.

Solvent polyacrylate, permanent

Area of use
This film is especially designed for producing high quality backlit signs and application on internally illuminated sign
faces made of acrylic glass, glass and translucent banner materials. Suitable for application on cutting plotters. Semi-

glossy surface in white is additionally suitable for thermal transfer printing (with resin ribbons).

Note
Surfaces to which the material will be applied must be thoroughly cleaned from dust, grease or any contamination
which could affect the adhesion of the material. Freshly lacquered or painted surfaces should be allowed to dry and cure
completely. The compatibility of selected lacquers and paints should be tested by the user, prior to application of the
material. Furthermore the application information published by ORAFOL is to be considered. The batch traceability
according to ISO 9001 is possible on the basis of the roll number.

Heat Transfer Material for Plotters.
• 4 Mil matte polyurethane with clear mylar liner, designed for use with plotters. 45° angle blade recommended.
• With mirrored image, Heat transfer graphic with heat press on to garment using firm hard pressure at 330-335° F for 17-20 seconds for most colors. Peel warm.
• Works with cotton, polyester, spandex, lycra, and some athletic mesh fabrics. Will NOT adhere to nylon, dazzle cloth, shiny polyester or moisture-wicking materials, 100% cotton not recommended.

• Note: If printing on 100% cotton, we recommend washing the material first to remove excess lint and fuzz.
