PRECISION GROUND BARS and TUBES

Our line-up of centerless grinding equipment gives us capacities from 3/16″ to 16″ with lengths to 50′, and we can produce microfinishes to 6 RMS. In-house straightening and turning equipment greatly reduces our lead times. Straightening equipment includes both hydraulic presses and roll straighteners. Turning equipment handles bars up to 20″ diameter.

All finished materials are handled with the utmost care using specially adaptedequipment and nylon slings. Polished materials are protected against corrosion with our proprietary rust inhibitor. And we offer a variety of packaging options: collar and wrap, wax-lined cardboard tubing or wooden boxes.

For cylinder applications, we stock chrome plated bars and we’ll customgrind your special requirements. Bars are 68/70 Rc surface hardness with 6/12 RMS. Plating thickness .0005″.
