Heat Activated Mounting Boards
Mounting boards that are heat activated make mounting prints simple using a mounting-capable thermal roll laminator; simply place your print onto the adhesive and run it through your machine following your machine instructions. This style of mounting board features an adhesive that is specially formulated to activate when heat is applied. The combination of quality adhesive and even pressure from the roller laminating machine provides a strong and even bond between the print and board, so you get a professionally finished print, photo, or sign. Having the adhesive pre-applied saves time and money by eliminating the extra step of adding the adhesive manually. Heat activated foam boards are available in either the standard foam core board or the more durable gator board for longer lasting uses.
