Product Description
These High Speed HDMI Active Optical Cables (AOC) support HDMI 2.0 features and are the perfect solution for extending HDMI over longer distances, beyond the maximum reliable length limitation. These cables are ideal for experiencing resolutions up to 4K (4096 x 2160 at 60hz, 4:4:4), bandwidths up to 18Gbps, HDR for higher contrast ratios and vivid colors, plus 32 uncompressed digital audio channels to provide crystal-clear sound ? making them perfect for classrooms, conference rooms, healthcare facilities, houses of worship and other commercial environments.

Convenience

AOC technology performs similar to traditional copper cabling. The optical fiber construction between the connectors provides optimum performance and easy installation. The cable diameter is smaller than copper and more flexible which makes for easier installations in tight spaces. They have been designed for enhanced video experiences with higher resolutions, increased speeds, sharper images and are backward compatible with previous HDMI specifications for existing HDMI devices.

Performance

Constructed from fiber strands, these cables reduce the risk of EMI/RFI, so performance is stable when used in typically high interference environments such as data centers, surgical theaters or manufacturing facilities where high resolution and consistent display are critical. The AOC draws power from the HDMI source device, so no external power source is required. Gripping connectors ensure that your most critical equipment maintains signal and limits the chance that the cable could be accidently disconnected causing detrimental downtime. The plenum rating allows these cables to be routed through plenum air space above dropped ceilings or under raised floors.
