DESCRIPTION
ImagePerfect 2555 StreetApp from Gerber Technology is textured, scuff-resistant print medium with a
non-slip surface specially engineered for application of graphics to asphalt, tarmac, pavements,
concrete, walls, carpet, wooden flooring and more. Its bitumen-resistant, permanent, adhesive system
can be removed cleanly (depending on the substrate), making it an ideal product for promotional
graphics in most urban areas on surfaces such as sports arenas, race tracks, car parks, pavements,
stone floors for removable displays at street fairs, sporting events, galleries and exhibitions, retail
locations, etc. Additionally, because of its adhesive technology, it is also suitable for application to
carpet, wooden flooring, walls, etc. (because of the emboss, it makes an interesting wallpaper
product).
The IP 2555 surface formulation enables high-level print quality with a large color gamut that ensures
colorful images with vibrant area in-fills. IP 2555 has been specially formulated for digital printing on
large-format inkjet printers and is suitable for printing with eco solvent, solvent, UV-cured, and latex
inks.

APPLICATION
The texture of the IP 2555 must be retained in order for the slip resistance to be maintained. The
multi-layered construction incorporates a fabric layer which provides the product with flexibility and
strength, increasing its resistance to cracking.
Note: For rough surfaces, use of a soft application roller is recommended to press the material
into the texture. In order to avoid potential lifting of the product, it is recommended that corners
are rounded rather than cut to a sharp 90° angle.
Surface preparation– In order to achieve process-secure application, it is essential that the substrate
is totally dry and completely free of dust, dirt, and debris prior to product installation. As such, it is
recommended that the substrate is brushed and vacuumed before the IP 2555 is applied and, if the
substrate is wet, that it should be dried via portable heating.
