DESCRIPTION
ImagePerfect 2558 Multigrip from Gerber Technology is white, semi-gloss vinyl with a permanent,
aggressive, high-tack adhesive for indoor and outdoor applications on most low surface energy (LSE)
substrates and other “hard-to-stick-to” flat and textured surfaces such as polyethylene, polypropylene,
polyamide, ABS plastic, zinc-galvanized steel, brick, concrete, and stone. IP 2558 promotes high-level
print quality with remarkable text definition and a large color gamut to ensure colorful images with
vibrant area infills. It is equipped with a backing paper that offers excellent lay-flat properties and
performs well in cold temperature environments.
IP 2558 has been specially formulated for digital printing on large-format inkjet printers and is suitable
for printing with eco solvent, solvent, UV-cured, and latex inks.

APPLICATION
Please make sure the printed IP 2558 is completely dry before laminating and/or application. If not, it
can negatively affect the adhesive performance and show very high shrinkage and edge curling.
Before the IP 2558 is applied, the surface should be completely cleaned so that it is free of dust, dirt
and other debris. On ‘hard-to-stick-to’ surfaces, a test is recommended to confirm that the product will
bond before full application takes place. Applications onto structured surfaces will require heat (until
the film is soft).
