Gerber Gold™ Routing Bits
Gerber Gold routing bits are designed for greater performance and longer tool life. These remarkable routing bits are
made from the highest quality micrograin carbide to the tightest tolerances in the industry. They are then coated with
titanium nitride to enhance their durability even further. The result is superior edge quality and lower tooling cost.
These high performance bits can be used with all Gerber routers/engravers, as well as with other automated and
manual routers.
Single-Flute Radial Bits
These bits are ideal for cutting sheet aluminum and brass with a thickness of .060” (1.5mm) and less, as well as soft
woods and soft alloy aluminum. Unlike the spiral flute bits, these bits have a single straight cutting edge which doesn’t
pull up on the work piece. This straight flute allows the bit to “shear” the chip off at the top edge of the material being
cut without leaving a burr. The chip extraction, however, will not be as good as with a spiral bit.
