Description

Photo Tex (EX) – Aqueous Printers High Tack FABRIC PAPER 6 MIL

Photo Tex (EX) Extra Strength adhesive-back fabric sticks to any non-porous flat surface and is easy to install, creating brilliant, seamless images with dynamic, vivid colors. Photo Tex works indoors or out, so the sharp graphics will not shrink, wrinkle or rip in any temperature or climate change. It is ideal for walls and wall murals in restaurants, retail settings, offices, vehicles, and more. Photo Tex will easily wrap around corners, poles, and even ceilings, and it is removable, reusable, and repositionable and won’t leave any residue behind. Other application ideas for this versatile fabric include windows, doors, sign boards, elevators, and more. Photo Tex is compatible with aqueous inkjet printers using UV ink and HP Latex printers.

If using UV ink or UV curable printers, you can over heat the material and cause the adhesive to weaken up to 50% during printing, if the lamps are set too high. We recommend you compare a printed piece to a non-printed piece from the same roll so you can easily tell if the adhesive was overheated or weakened during printing. With UV ink, if you choose to lay down an extremely heavy, solid, dark color when bleeding, the weight of the ink pulls against the material. This happens because UV ink sits on top of the material and acts like a laminate. In rare cases, you may need to leave a small border – this is for UV curable ink only printers. An easy way to test this is to leave it up for 24-36 hours. If the edges do not curl, the material was unaffected, as this curl will appear quickly and not over time. All other printers/inks you can bleed using any solid colors.
