The VP3805 Smart Card Reader is a TAA-compatible replacement for lost or damaged readers purchased by federal government agencies, the military, and other organizations and vendors requiring products manufactured under the provisions of the U.S. Trade Agreements Act.The TAA-Compliant Smart Card Reader is PC Smart Card, CCID, CT/API, HBCI and CAC compatible, designed for use in card-based access and security systems.
The VP3805 is a PC/SC, FiPS 201-compliant USB Smart Card Reader manufactured to meet U.S. Trade Agreements Act requirements. ISO7816 certified and CAC-compatible, the VP3805 supports Card Terminal (CT/API) and Home Banking (HBCI) applications. The VP3805 Smart Card Reader is Common Access Card (CAC) compatible, for use by government, military, Department of Defense (DoD) and other organizations utilizing CAC security/access applications. (Windows® XP, Vista, 7, 8 and 10, Mac® OS X® 10.6 and later compatible)
